Shipping FAQ
Shipping FAQ
When are orders shipped?
Perishable items must be ordered by Monday for delivery that week. We recommend keeping two weeks of perishable products inventory in your cafe.
Non-perishable items ship 5-days a week. Often, non-perishable item orders will be held until Thursday or Friday to prioritize perishable shipments.
Please note that many orders will be "split" - meaning they will leave from different warehouses with different tracking and delivery dates. Please check your "Master Tracking Number" before contacting Customer Support. We will not forget your order.
What's the cutoff for orders?
We ship orders as fast-as-possible.
- Non-perishable orders can be sent over the weekend and therefore have no cut-off
- Perishable orders must be delivered to your store by Friday so that perishable items don't sit in a UPS warehouse over the weekend. Perishable order cut-off is by Monday at midnight. Any perishable orders received after the cut-off may be sent the following week.
Why is my order only partially fulfilled?
Orders ship from different warehouses nationwide so an order may be split to different warehouses based on inventory or time-in-transit to get you products as fast as possible.
Why is my order coming from a further warehouse?
Inventory. Our goal is to fulfill orders as fast as possible so your order may originate from a different a warehouse each time you order.
What if there's an issue with my shipment?
We handle all issues with UPS. Reply to your delivery confirmation email or to stephanie@cleaneatzkitchen.com so we can replace the items for you.
Why is a product not available in my area?
Please remember we are a North Carolina headquartered company. The further you are from North Carolina, the longer the fulfillment time is on products. West coast stores should plan to keep more product in-stock to accommodate the lag in fulfillment time.
